Are sound bars worth it or should stick with traditional surround sound setup?

I dig the size of them, just don't know if they put out good sound.

It really depends on your needs. Larger rooms will be better suited for the traditional setup, but if you have a small space a sound bar might be a good option and allow you to cut down on some of your equipment.
