Can I use an amplifier which provides less power than my speakers call for?

I looked it up, as long as your amp has an inverter it should be fine!

Amplifiers are getting pretty inexpensive these days, so you should consider upgrading it to a size that can drive your speakers well.

Yes. For example, you can use a 50-watt per channel amplifier with 100-watt speakers; however, you may not get the level of sound that the speakers are capable of.
