Can I use an amplifier which provides less power than my speakers call for? Edition1.

 Connect the access wire to the switched lead or access terminal in the fuse box which has power only when the key is on. Connect the b+ wire to the positive battery terminal.

  • For example, you can use a 50-watt per channel amplifier with 100-watt speakers; however, you may not get the level of sound that the speakers are capable of.
