I recently brought some cables to do a (long) job of connecting some external source devices to my PC. Some of which will be using HDMI to DVI, I know DVI wont take audio but i learned you can connect audio via RCA to speaks.
i brought all i needed RCA (standard Red, White and Yellow) and brought a converter to turn them from male to female input (Red and white, yellow isn't needed for audio), and brought a Red/White to a 3,5mm jack (female) to connect my speakers to, now everywhere on my net says this will work but when i got my Red/white to 3,5mm it came as a Red/Black (not white)... would i still be able to use this with the desired devices or would it not work?
So in short, can a Red/White RCA connect into a Black/Red when connecting devices to a PC speakers?
