HELP WITH NO SIGNAL MESSAGE ON RCA BLU RAY CONNECTED TO LG TV?

Everything is hooked up as it should be, it was working, and I fell asleep with it on pandora through the blu ray. I woke in the morning and it had frozen on the pandora screen. I turned everything off and back on, including the blu ray, and when I turned it back on, the TV came on but when I switched the input mode to the blu ray, it just says no signal now. I did not touch any cords or anything other than the wall outlet. The thing is, it doesn't even register to switch the input to blue ray unless it is on, and it is registering the blu ray is on, but it still says no signal? I'm so confused I didn't do anything

Solution

the problem lies with your Blu Ray player. Unplug the player again, and keep it unplugged for more than just a simple unplug/plug in. While waiting - reconnect the cables. Now plug the player in and power it on. Hopefully the player will respond. In doing research, I'd found that you are not alone with RCA BR problems of locking up, and there is no real fix. If you need to replace it, lean toward a Samsung.
