RCA DVD cables.. no sound?

I'm trying to hook my DVD player up to my TV with red blue green component cables, but can't get sound. Do I need another set of cables or am I doing something wrong? I do get a clear color picture, just no sound.

  1. No, I'm sorry, you appear to have swallowed the Bose Kool Aid. Bose is overpriced and underwhelming.

  • If you seriously believe that Bose home equipment is superior to Polk & Harman Karden, you are beyond hope or help.

The red green blue cables provide ONLY video signals. You need to connect the red/white stereo audio jacks, as well.
