Dipole Speaker placement

Is it true, that i should not place my rear dipole speakers higher then 2.1 meters above ground? I should know before drill holes in the walls...

yeah, that actually a best practice in dipol placement. I placed mine on 2.4 meters and they are just fine. i honestly dont think, that this has a large influence.
