Your soundbar was never designed for what you intend. Neither was the Sony sub. Your Sony sub requires an external amp. Your soundbar can't power anything but itself. Even if you could do it, the bass would overwhelm the sound coming out of the soundbar. As difficult as it may be for you to understand, there is more to sound than bass. http://on.fb.me/19bWHww
