new to hifi - any advice?

Howdy! I'm new to the HiFi world, and was hoping to get some advice for choosing speakers.

What are you going to use them for?  Typically, you should think about what kinds of music you will play, how big the room is, etc.  If you are going to use them outdoors, for instance, then you need a different kind of speaker.

Re: new to hifi - any advice?

Hi Anthony,

Tell me, do the bars on the Xbox refer to the wireless signal? Or is this a network connection indicator? Apologies if I’ve got this wrong.

And are you using Ethernet(I see know you wrote “I got a new cable”)? If so, then ignore my previous post about wireless.

Settings like IP Flood Protection can make the difference. Have you switched this off? Is the connection running better?
