Re: Denon Receiver bypass HDCP?

Sony bought a large Hollywood studio years ago so they have a big interest in reducing piracy both in audio and video. Some examples:

Search for "Sony root-kit virus". They put a PC root-kit virus on a lot of their AUDIO CD to help discover who was ripping audio cd's.

Sony BluRay players will not output 1080p via component to help thwart pirates.

Many early HDMI switches would NOT work with the PS3 because the copy protection timing was so tight the presence of a switch tripped the copy protection.

So Sony ... has things locked up pretty tight.

You might want to investigate the website that lets you stream your game play. I believe Sony supports this.
