I got a new flatscreen TV, and I'm going to do a test to see if a $10 HDMI cable performs the same way as a $100 HDMI cable.

I guess videotaping it wouldn't be an accurate way of displaying results.

The best thing to do is buy a cheap but reasonable amp that has three or four HDMi inputs on the back.
