In my opinion, it all comes down to reliability and the availability of parts should a repair be needed. Samsung is the clear winner here as they are reliable and repairable. LG is not quite as reliable - but still repairable. Sony has fallen from grace due to very poor support - in other words, if it fails it may not be repairable.
