"I own a pioneer A50 AMP and I intend on buying a B&W ASW610 sub-woofer..." Why? The 684's don't need a subwoofer in the first place and the ASW-610 is a home cinema sub anyway, so it won't work well with music. http://goo.gl/3Y8P
