I got these speakers for the rear channels of my surround system and they are perfect; great sound, wide dispersion, small enough to blend in, and a nifty keyhole in the back to allow mounting them directly on the wall. The sound is so true I believe you could use them as front speakers in a smaller system/environment and be pretty satisfied although the perfect fit is in a surround setup. Very well constructed and nice flat black finish. Highly recommended.
