At this time, we have a call into a tree company who are coming to see if the other side of this tree can be saved or whether it should be cut down before it falls down. I suspect the later will be the case, and though I am somewhat saddened by the thought of losing this tree that both of my boys have played on and around for so long, I realize that if it is diseased, it must come down before it does more damage than the other half did when it fell.
